This relatively short text in Latin has been the source of inspiration for so many composers, Bach being the most famous and widely performed.

For this occasion, instead of a chamber orchestra, I choose a brass quintet as the companion to the Chorus, both for its tone quality, that fits well with the religious and early music aspect of the piece, and for the contrast that it provides to the human voices.
